ASAMCommander Enterprise is a web-based enterprise test data management client based on the ASAM ODS standard. It enables engineers and analysts to find, explore, and reuse measurement data efficiently across projects, test benches, and sites. ASAMCommander is built around modules that add dedicated capabilities, such as navigation, search, or bookmarking, within a shared user interface and common services. ASAMCommander works with any ASAM ODS–based system, including the AVL Santorin and Eclipse openMDM application models.
For organizations operating global test data management platforms, the Enterprise Edition is designed for scalable, enterprise-wide deployments. In addition to all the features of the Professional version, it provides standardized access to measurement data across teams and locations, offering options for corporate identity alignment and the integration of custom modules.
For organizations operating across sites and teams, ASAMCommander Enterprise provides standardized access to measurement data with a consistent user experience. Common navigation and search behavior, shared services, and centrally managed configurations help teams work with the same structure and conventions, even when the underlying system landscape is heterogeneous.
ASAMCommander Enterprise supports reliable operation at scale for global test data platforms. Capabilities such as system logging, data change and processing traceability, and retention policy support help organizations consistently manage measurement data over time. Additional modules provide transparency for import processes and analysis execution, and the backend can be scaled with the AReS Gateway as an entry point to an ASAM ODS server cluster.
ASAMCommander Enterprise can be aligned with corporate identity and extended through customer-specific modules. This enables organizations to integrate company-specific workflows, views, and domain logic without breaking the shared user experience. The modular architecture keeps extensions maintainable while preserving consistent security and UI behavior across the deployment.
The Mainframe is the shared application framework of ASAMCommander Enterprise. It provides the global user interface and core services for the entire web application, including centralized access to multiple ASAM ODS projects and enterprise authentication. It also delivers shared functions used across modules, such as consistent navigation behavior, internationalization, and common data access services.
Align the application with your corporate identity across all pages and modules to provide a consistent look and feel for users worldwide. This includes consistent styling and terminology across both standard and customer-specific modules.
Integrate customer-specific modules into the ASAMCommander environment to implement company workflows, views, and domain logic while keeping the overall user experience consistent. The Mainframe acts as the host framework for standard HighQSoft modules and customer-specific modules and supports enterprise authentication via LDAP or OIDC.
Use a single entry point for standardized access to multiple ASAM ODS projects and environments, with shared services such as authentication and common data access functions available throughout the application. This simplifies roll-out and helps teams work consistently across sites and systems.
The Explorer supports flexible exploration of test data in any ASAM ODS–based system. It offers configurable browsing and filtering views that can be aligned with how engineers structure measurements and test campaigns. At the measurement level, Navigator provides fast access to key details and quick signal previews through simple plots. Selected datasets can be forwarded to integrated expert tools, submitted to processing pipelines, or exported in multiple formats.
Search provides a consistent way to locate datasets across your test data management system. It combines a quick, global “Google-like” search with guided, structured filtering for more precise queries. For power users, the query builder supports creating, saving, and reusing HQL queries to identify datasets and define repeatable search logic.
Bookmarks helps users collect and revisit relevant datasets, turning one-time discovery into reusable working sets. Items can be added from other modules and organized into multiple lists for personal or team workflows. Bookmarks support combined actions such as bulk export or processing via Merlin analysis jobs. A dedicated view for manually executed analysis jobs helps you review results such as calculated values, images, and documents.
The Catalog Editor supports administration of ASAM ODS standard catalogs, including physical dimensions, units, quantities, and their relationships. It provides full create, read, update, and delete functionality with usability features such as transaction control and drag-and-drop editing. In enterprise scenarios, import and export mappings help normalize incoming channel names and units to standardized catalogs or customer-specific namespaces, improving consistency and interoperability across datasets and toolchains.
Provides system and application logging to support monitoring and troubleshooting. It consolidates log information from ASAMCommander components and connected services into a unified viewer with filtering and export capabilities. Logging support also covers containerized deployments, improving traceability and simplifying operational debugging in larger environments.
Merlin is an integrated server-side analysis and job orchestration framework for standardized, automated execution of analysis tasks on test data. Users can launch, schedule, and monitor analysis jobs from the web UI, enabling scalable execution and reproducible results with traceable data lineage. Merlin supports multiple technologies, including Python, Java, and MATLAB, and can be extended with custom job templates and event-based triggers for automated processing.
