ASAM ODS Database

When speaking about an ASAM ODS Database, an ASAM ODS Server is meant. The ASAM ODS Server is an implementation of the ASAM ODS standard. It provides the ASAM ODS API to the client applications and manages the data based on the physical storage requirements. Today, this is mostly a SQL database.

The database is usually provided by the customer and is represented by an Oracle, PostGreSQL, or another database. When the same database is supported by two vendors, the ASAM ODS Server is interchangeable.

At HighQSoft, we offer our Avalon ODS Server and AReS ODS Server.

Key Features

Centralized Data Repositories

Typically, the Avalon ODS Server utilizes a central database for descriptive data and additional data repositories for mass data. The server manages the access to mass data and original files. The files and data repositories of any type are protected.

Enterprise Scalability

Test Data Management systems may incorporate multiple locations, time zones, and a high number of users. Use-case base on large data sets, high-performance calculations, and resource-intensive rich client applications. The Avalon ODS Server is not only a single-server setup. It provides horizontal and vertical scalability.

Universal Tool Integration

Many tools already integrate seamlessly with our Avalon ODS Server, e.g. DIAdem, Concerto, and many others. In many cases, our software is the basis for homegrown Test Data Management Systems. Typically, these systems are web applications to include corporate processes and use-cases.
